Help us kick off the Irish Celebration on March 12th!

Ha'penny Bridge Imports of Ireland has partnered with the Dublin Village Tavern to bring you the St. Paddys Kilt Contest.

Activities will kick off with the Kilt Fitting at Ha'penny's retail store front in Historic Dublin, at 75 S. High St.  Each contestant will then march down to the Tavern and showcase their wears for the crowd.

Contest Details

The contest winner will get a split of the registration pot; it will be a cash prize of half the entry fees collected.

Earlier registrants have the pick of the crop in kilts to wear.  We encourage registration by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 11.

The entrants are to gather at the Ha'penny at 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 12.
Either wear your own kilt or arrive to get your reserved kilt.

Entry numbers will be given to each participant at that time.

At 6:45 p.m., the group will parade up the street to the Dublin Village Tavern and through the rooms for all to see.

At 7:00 p.m. each entrant will be expected to appear before the judges:

Walk toward the judges, give a side pose, give the best pose for a picture, turn, and go back to the contestant line.

The judges will be looking for how well the entrants carry themselves, how their kilt sways, overall impression.  The judges combined opinions will count.
